Wines| Jaś Wędrowniczek and wines from every corner of the world. We offer more than 300 kinds of wine: France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, Chile, Argentina, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Republic of South Africa, Lebanon, Mexico. The popularity of wine drinking in Poland is increasing each year. Often instead of putting a bottle of vodka on the table we put there a bottle of dry Bordeaux or sweet Muscat. We evaluate its taste, color and scent. We play with a glass by winding it and observing small “tears” of wine flowing down the glass’s wall. Over time, each newly opened bottle brings new experiences. The first nose, then the second - we feel the smell of leaves after the rain in autumn, basket full of fruits, fresh cut hay, figs, citrus fruits. We recall then the moments spent with the beloved person and taste of wine which we had then in the glass. We recall countries that we have visited and those about which we still dream of. Each opened bottle of wine is like a trip to the country of its origin. We move then to the sunny Tuscany and California, to the Casablanca valley in Chile, to singing Mexico, South Australia or to Marlborough in New Zealand. Italians say that a meal without wine is a punishment itself. Others claim that wine has its own character and personality. “Wine is life which is the purest and the healthiest midst all beverages” said Ludwik Pasteur, whereas Aristotle said that “wine gives hope”. “Life is too short to drink bad wine” sings Krzysztof Krawczyk. Working with the Warsaw Center of Wine which boasts about the longest wine list in Poland, we have decided to create a small wine center in Jaś Wędrowniczek. Waiters training, numerous tours and tastings, special wine cellars and finally the special exhibition in the main restaurant room. 300 different kinds of wine from all over the world diversified as far as price and quality are concerned. From cheaper wines Vin de Table – 20 zł per bottle, through the average price of 40, 50 zł to the more expensive 140, 150 zł per bottle, ending with the Grand Cru Classe for 2,000 zł per bottle. Chilled white and pink, perfect for warm evenings with candles. Red "heavier" dry on cooler days. Excellent choice of cognacs, liqueurs, sparkling wines, 30-year-old Portos, Sherries and Champagnes. Magnum bottles of 150cl, 300cl or even 500cl capacity. Everyone should find something appropriate for him. One can select wines on his own, read the labels, watch and ask for advice one of our sommeliers Mr. Michał Krukar or Mr. Tomasz Prugar. We hosted the representatives of French Dourth and Californian Beringer who travel all over the world. They did not conceal their surprise to see how many people are interested in wine in the area of Rymanów. The representatives enjoyed the way how wine and food is served as well as the atmosphere of the Inn. Visit Jaś Wędrowniczek in order to start the travel with a flavor of wine.
